Schools that were once filled with the voices of students have now turned into places where families forced to flee from Afrin, Shahba, Aleppo, Raqqa, and Tabqa due to attacks by groups affiliated with the Syrian interim government are gathered.
ANHA visited several schools in the cities of Girkê Legê and Dêrik in the Cizîrê region to observe the situation of the displaced people on the ground.
Despite the efforts of relevant institutions and the aid provided by Kurds both inside the country and abroad, the displaced people’s need for assistance continues.
The displaced hope that this situation will be temporary and that they will be able to return to their homes and homelands in the near future.
