A delegation from the Kobanê Autonomous Administration met with a delegation from the Aleppo Governorate to discuss the return of displaced people, the security situation, and the lifting of the siege on Kobanê.
The delegation of the Kobanê Canton Autonomous Administration continues its meetings with the Aleppo Governorate delegation at the Aleppo Governorate building.
The Kobanê administration delegation consists of Ferhan Hec İsa, representatives of institutions in Kobanê, and leading figures of Arab tribes.
The Aleppo Governorate delegation consists of the Aleppo Internal Security Forces Commander Mihemed Ebdulxenî, Deputy Governor of Aleppo Elî Henûre, and security officials affiliated with the Syrian Transitional Government.
Within the framework of the understanding reached between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian Transitional Government, the two delegations are discussing in particular the articles concerning Kobanê, the return of displaced people, coordination between the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and security forces affiliated with the transitional government, and the methods for lifting the siege on the city of Kobanê.
The Kobanê Administration’s visit to Aleppo follows meetings held between the two sides in Kobanê.
