The Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) delegation visited the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Cizîr Canton and the Union of Rojava Kurdistan Intellectuals Union (HRRK) on Saturday.
The delegation consisted of KNK Co-Chair Ahmet Karamus; KNK Presidential Coordination member Şêrko Hemê Emîn; KNK Coordination members Dr. Hekîm Ebdurehîm, Perwîn Ezîz, and Mecde Ebas; KNK Rojava Committee member Silêman Îlyas; and KNK Executive Board member Ekrem Hiso.
The delegation was received at the council’s headquarters in Qamishlo by Co-Chair of the Cizîr Canton Executive Council Hesen Şero and Autonomous Administration Advisor Jiyan Hesen.
During the meeting, inter-Kurdish unity and the latest developments in the region were discussed.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the Rojavay Kurdistan Intellectuals Union (HRRK) in the Siyaî neighborhood of Qamishlo.
The parties discussed the political situation, the impact of recent attacks on advancing unity, and Kurdish solidarity worldwide.
Continuing its talks in Qamishlo, the delegation will meet with the Kurdish Negotiation Delegation of the Qamishlo Conference, which was established on April 26, 2025.
