DEM Party (Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party) Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan released a statement welcoming and supporting the agreement between the Damascus Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
“We clearly welcome the agreement reached between the Damascus Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria. We extend our sincere thanks to all the countries, institutions, individuals, and peoples whose efforts contributed to making this agreement possible. We also salute the resistance of the people who, from the very first day, stood in support across the world and took to the streets,” DEM Party said.
The DEM Party affirmed their continued and unwavering solidarity to ensure the success of this process.
“The will of Rojava is fundamental for us. Our responsibility is to support the decisions they have made. We congratulate their commitment to negotiation and their stance at the negotiating table. We have consistently emphasized that conflicts can be resolved through negotiation and dialogue, and we maintain that position today,” said the DEM Party.
