The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Centre issued a statement confirming the conclusion of an operation to “purse cells affiliated with the ISIS terrorist organization, which had launched an armed attack on our forces in the neighborhoods of Al-Ghwayran and Al-Nashwa earlier this evening, using medium and light weapons.”
The statement added that “the operation resulted in the arrest of three members of those cells. Our forces call on our civilian population to adhere to safety instructions and to report any suspicious movements, in affirmation of the ongoing efforts aimed at maintaining security and stability in the area.”
