Social media accounts circulated a video documenting the cooperation of factions loyal to the Syrian Interim Government in smuggling families of ISIS militants from Hol camp after they seized control over it.
The video shows one of the mercenaries addressing ISIS families, saying, “Where do you want to go, sisters? Come on, this is your chance, escape!”
Hol Camp used to house thousands of families of ISIS mercenaries. After attacks launched by factions loyal to the Syrian Interim Government on the city of Hol and the camp, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Wednesday their withdrawal from the camp and their redeployment in the areas surrounding Kurdish cities facing increasing threats.
