In response to the attacks by the Turkish state and ISIS and HTS gang groups, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria declared general mobilization. Groups of people from all four parts of Kurdistan set out toward Rojava.
In protest against the attacks on North and East Syria, a march was held with the participation of tens of thousands in the Nisêbîn (Nusaybin) district of Mardin (Mêrdîn), opposite Qamishlo. As part of the general mobilization, the crowd crossed the border and joined the resistance in Rojava.
Citizens who gathered in Nusaybin to support Rojava spoke to ANF.
The Kurdish people will not lose
Perihan Altu said: “Today we are here, in the streets, for our people who are resisting in Rojava. We will also resist here against the gangs attacking our people in Rojava. They are massacring our people while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” We will unite against these attacks. Kurdish unity has been achieved. Wherever Rojava and the SDF are, we will be there as well. These traitors only increase our unity.
Everyone should know very well that we will not lose. The conspiracies carried out against Abdullah Öcalan and the Kurdish people will fail. We stand with Leader Apo and our people. We will remove the borders and unite the four parts of Kurdistan. Long live the resistance of Rojava, long live Öcalan.”
We stand with our people in Rojava
Haşim Gölet said: “We will always remain in resistance and struggle, united, to protect the gains of the Kurdish people. The pioneers of the Kurdish people will take the necessary initiative. The Kurdish people are being subjected to genocide. We do not accept this. These attacks are an assault on human dignity. From the youngest to the oldest, the entire Kurdish people must heed this mobilization call and stand up for Rojava. Just as the Kurdish people displayed a historic resistance in Rojava 15 years ago, they are showing the same resistance today. The perspective put forward by the Kurdish Freedom Movement in Rojava is unparalleled in the world. The whole world should stand by this perspective.
Kelime Koç said The purpose of our gathering here is for the entire Kurdish people and for Rojava. Our people are being massacred on the other side of the border. We do not accept these attacks. We stand with our people in Rojava to the very end. Let the whole world hear us: we will not abandon our resistance.
