According to reports, a large crowd breached a police barricade in Mardin’s Nusaybin district and marched to the Qamishlo Border Crossing.
Hundreds of people are reported to have crossed the border and reached Qamishlo, joining the resistance as part of the general mobilization declared in Rojava against the increasingly ongoing attacks by militias affiliated with the Syrian Transitional Government and backed by the Turkish state.
Reports say that Turkish soldiers are firing at the people waiting at the border crossing.
