Foza Yûsif, a member of the PYD Co-Presidency Council, issued a post on her X account saying: “Our call is urgent: our people in Bakur (North Kurdistan) must move towards Nusaybin and Suruç. Rojava is under attack. Kurds are being massacred. Youth and the people of Bashur (South Kurdistan) must rush to Derik and cross the border. Today is the day to defend national honor.”
