Foza Yusif, a member of the Presidential Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), made a statement on her social media account.
Stating that Damascus did not comply with the ceasefire it declared, Foza Yusif wrote, “Clashes continue in Shaddadi and Ain Issa. Therefore, our people must be vigilant and be prepared for any eventuality. Furthermore, as the Kurds in Rojava face the threat of genocide, we call on Kurdish forces to declare general mobilization.”
