The Congress of Democratic Kurdish Societies in Europe (KCDK-E) issued a statement calling on everyone to continue to defend Rojava, its people and the achievements of the revolution.
The statement said: “The Rojava Revolution, created as a democratic, free, and women-led project and representing the hope of the peoples of Kurdistan and the world, is being besieged and choked from all sides. During the clashes that have been ongoing for days, international forces, the barbaric ISIS, HTS militias, and the Turkish state, insistently seeking to carry out the genocide of the Kurds, have attempted to subject them to massacres.
The honorable Kurdish people continue their resistance with moral integrity and determination. They are waging a great resistance on all fronts against barbarians and perpetrators of genocide. The Turkish state, which provides all kinds of support to ISIS and HTS militias leading this war, continues the war through media manipulation and dirty methods.”
The statement added: “On the one hand, it propagates peace and brotherhood with the Kurdish people; on the other, it offers full support to repression and violent, inhumane attacks against Kurdish settlements and living spaces.
All these attacks constitute a clear violation of human rights and represent a genocidal policy against the existence of our people. Despite extremely harsh conditions, major obstacles, and difficult living circumstances, our people resist through revolutionary struggle.
The people of Rojava do not accept the conditions being imposed on them by the Damascus government and the occupying Turkish state. These attacks will not break the will of our people, and determined resistance will repel them.”
The statement underlined that “thanks to the determined struggle carried out by our people in Europe, the Germany visit of the bloodstained al-Colani has been postponed. As long as we remain mobilized with determined struggle and take ownership of Rojava, we will continue to achieve results. Just as in the Kobanê process, expanding resistance and struggle secures gains.
As KCDK-E, we officially call on the international public and guarantor states to stand against these crimes and take responsibility, and we will continue to defend our rights in Rojava. We call on our people, friends, and all democratic forces across Europe and the world to resolutely continue the uninterrupted struggle to defend Rojava.”
