Foza Yusif, a member of the Presidential Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), made a statement on her social media account regarding the attacks on Raqqa by gangs affiliated with the Syrian Transitional Government and supported by the Turkish state.
She stressed that the attacks pose a serious threat to the security of prisons where ISIS militants are being held. Foza Yusif said: “We issue a strong warning. The continuation of the attacks creates a major danger for the prisons. This situation puts the entire region at risk. The International Coalition must intervene immediately.”
