After carrying out massacres in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah, gangs linked to the Transitional Government are blocking journalists, as well as international and humanitarian aid organizations, from accessing these areas.
Since 11 January, armed groups linked to the Transitional Government have been besieging the neighborhood where thousands of families live, preventing the passage of aid and journalists.
Channels affiliated with gangs linked to the Transitional Government speak of a “return to normal life” in the neighborhoods, but local sources state that the reality is very different and that systematic crimes and violations against civilians are being committed in Sheikh Maqsoud.
