The Executive Council of the Raqqa Canton, affiliated with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, issued a general directive regarding the curfew across the canton. The ban will come into force starting January 13, 2026.
According to Directive No. 1, the curfew will be enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and will remain in effect for an indefinite period. The Council called on everyone to comply with the directive.
The Executive Council of the Tabqa Canton also issued a general directive announcing a partial curfew across the canton. The curfew will likewise be in effect from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Authorities in both cantons urged all citizens to comply with the directive and cooperate with the relevant institutions, noting that the measure was introduced to ensure security and stability in the region.
