In a statement on Saturday, the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo said, “In a desperate attempt to mislead public opinion, the media of Damascus government factions and their affiliates are circulating images of buses forcibly displacing civilians from the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood under the brutal artillery shelling that the area has endured over the past five days, falsely claiming that they are our fighters.”
The Internal Security Forces affirmed that these allegations are entirely false, and that the published images depict civilians who were forcibly displaced and are victims of the direct aggression of these factions, in addition to young civilians who were abducted and transferred to an unknown location by these factions.
