Protests against economic, social, and political crises in Iran and Eastern Kurdistan have continued uninterrupted since December 28, 2025.
As the growing protests gain support from many segments of society, Iranian state forces have increased their pressure and violence against demonstrators, patriots, and activists.
According to information provided by local sources, Ekrem Pirgizi, a citizen from Nishapur, Khorasan, lost his life as a result of a direct attack by Iranian state forces on protesters.
The human rights organization HRANA reported that 57 people, including 7 under the age of 18, had been killed and more than 2,311 people had been detained during the past 14 days.
