In a statement, the Internal Security Forces of Sheikh Maqsoud (Şêxmeqsûd) and Ashrafiyah (Eşrefiyê) announced that groups linked to the Syrian Transitional Government carried out tank attacks on the two neighborhoods.
According to the statement, Transitional Government forces are deploying tanks around the neighborhoods at the same time as the bombardment.
The statement emphasized that the attacks constitute a dangerous act that threatens the lives of civilians and directly targets residential areas.
