During demonstrations in numerous cities across Eastern Kurdistan and Iran, civil servants, teachers, retirees, and workers protested against deteriorating economic conditions, corruption, and death penalties.
Citizens gathered in front of government buildings in many cities, demanding that their demands be met and chanting slogans against the Iranian government. During the protests, civil servants in particular demanded better salaries, while protesters called on the regime to end the death penalty.
