Political prisoners in Evin Prison are not receiving medical treatment

The Women’s Commission of the National Council of Resistance of Iran issued a written statement regarding the situation of women political prisoners in Evin Prison.

The statement noted that 60 women political prisoners held in Evin Prison are suffering from serious health issues. It emphasized that the prisoners are deliberately being denied treatment, a situation that poses life-threatening risks, especially for elderly prisoners and those with chronic illnesses.

The statement also reported that the health conditions of women prisoners Fatma Ziyabi, Shiva Ismaili, Marziyeh Farsi, Ilahi Fuladi, Tahereh Nouri, and Fevruh Taki Pur are in danger.
