ISIS cells in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor have intensified their attacks on the positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). ISIS mercenaries attacked a military position affiliated of the SDF in the town of Al-Bahra yesterday evening. No casualties were reported in the hit-and-run attack, and the perpetrators took advantage of the darkness to flee the area.
This was the third ISIS attack directed against SDF forces in the Deir ez-Zor and Hesekê countryside in the last 24 hours.
According to SOHR data, a total of 230 ISIS attacks have been carried out in the Democratic Autonomous Administration regions since the beginning of 2025.
Accordingly, 198 attacks were carried out in Deir ez-Zor, where 51 SDF fighters and 13 civilians were martyred, 4 ISIS members were killed, and 71 people were injured.
In 17 attacks carried out in Heseke, 8 Internal Security Forces members and 4 SDF fighters were martyred, 4 ISIS members were killed, and two people were injured.
In 15 attacks carried out in Raqqa, 2 civilians and 8 fighters were martyred, 5 ISIS members were killed, and 17 people were injured.
