According to the website Voice of Kurdish and Iranian Prisoners, a Kurdish woman named Şeyda Ezîzî in the city of Sine in Eastern Kurdistan was sentenced to three years in prison by Branch 1 of the Sine Revolutionary Court on the charge of “undermining national security.”
It was reported that Şeyda Ezîzî was detained without a court order during the 12-day Israel–Iran war and was sent to the city’s prison.
In addition, it was reported that two political women prisoners held in Evin Prison, Merziye Farisî and Ferûx Teqî Pûr, are experiencing physical problems and are being denied their right to medical treatment.
Sources also stated that the prisoners were detained during the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî” protests in 2023 and sent to Evin Prison, and that they were later sentenced to 15 years in prison by the Tehran Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Eman Afşari on the charge of “having links to anti-Iran opposition groups.”
