Three-day action in Strasbourg to demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan

As part of the three-day action launched in Strasbourg to demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, an information stand was set up in Place Kléber Square in Strasbourg. Activists informed the public about the importance of Abdullah Öcalan’s freedom and distributed leaflets. On Thursday, many people visited the stand, received information, and conveyed messages of solidarity.

In brief conversations with those on watch, it was emphasized that Abdullah Öcalan’s physical freedom is the key to peace and a democratic solution in the Middle East.

The action ended at 17:00 after a day of information-sharing and solidarity activities. Participants called for broad participation in the events to be held on the second and third days, today, Friday and tomorrow, Saturday, led by youth and women’s movements.

During the three-day action, the people of Strasbourg will be informed about the need for Abdullah Öcalan’s freedom and the isolation system in Imrali.
