According to the Commission, voter turnout in the Iraqi parliamentary elections held on 11 November was recorded at 56.11% nationwide.
Out of a total of 21,404,291 registered voters, 12,009,453 people cast their ballots.
Among the provinces of the Kurdistan Region, the highest turnout was recorded in Duhok with 76.7%, followed by Erbil (Hewlêr) with 69.2%, and Sulaimani (Silêmanî) with 56.87%.
According to the Commission’s statement, voter turnout was 64.12% in Kirkuk, 64% in Nineveh (Nînowa), and 55.49% in Diyala.
Meanwhile, the turnout for the special voting (security forces, displaced persons, etc.) was announced at 82.4%.
