Landmine explosion in Aleppo countryside kills two

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that two young people were killed by the explosion of a war remnant mine in the Zibib area in the southern countryside of Aleppo, under the control of Syrian Transitional Government forces.

According to SOHR, the slain youngsters were riding motorcycles in the Irtiwaziya Tilfah area when the mine exploded.

Meanwhile, the number of civilians who have lost their lives since the Assad regime collapsed on 8 December 2024 has risen to 647, including 186 children and 42 women.
