The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF Press) Center, confirmed in a statement that fighters Besam Ednan El Mihemed El Ebûd (Besam) and Ehmed Adil Şêxmûs (Goran Qamishlo), fell as martyrs in different places and circumstances.
The statement said: “Two of our fighters, Besam Ednan El Mihemed El Ebûd (Besam) and Ehmed Adil Şêxmûs (Goran Qamishlo), fell as martyrs while on duty defending their people and their land.”
The statement continued: “Comrade Besam was martyred last year during the resistance against the attacks by the invading Turkish state and its mercenaries on Manbij. He joined the battle to defend the city and fought until the moment of his martyrdom.
Comrade Goran Qamishlo was martyred while on duty in the city of Qamishlo as a result of a military accident. He was one of the loyal fighters. He participated in many campaigns against the ISIS terrorist organization in Deir ez-Zor and in the resistance against the occupation of Serêkaniyê by the invading Turkish state and its mercenaries.
The legacy of our comrades Besam and Goran will remain a torch for resistance and struggle until our people achieve victory.
We offer our condolences to the families of both martyrs and to all the families of martyrs, and we promise to fulfill their hopes and goals for a free and secure country free from terror and occupation.”
