The Patriotic Youth Platform will stage a march in Amed (tr: Diyarbakır) on October 18 demanding the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.
The demonstration, organized under the slogan “For a Free Life With the Leader of Freedom”, will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Alipınar Bridge in the Bağlar district and continue to the Ben û Sen Bastion in Sur district.
The march will be followed by a press statement, and a “Freedom Vigil” throughout the night.
Young people from Istanbul and several cities across Turkey and Kurdistan will leave for Amed on October 17 and 18.
