The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission published the names of candidatdates who will participate in the parliamentary elections. The Commission said that 7,768 people have registered as candidates in the elections. Of these, 2,248 are women and 5,520 are men.
The Iraqi Parliament consists of 329 seats. Election campaigning will begin tonight at midnight.
Parliamentary elections in Iraq will be held this year on November 11.
