267 people were killed in September in areas controlled by the Syrian Interim Government and in territories occupied by the Turkish state and the militias it supports.
The killings took place in Damascus and surrounding villages, as well as in Homs, Hama, Latakia, Aleppo, Tartus, Idlib, Daraa, and Deir ez-Zor.
In the village of Um Tina, near the town of Deir Hafir in eastern Aleppo, armed men affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government carried out a massacre by attacking civilians with a drone. Eight people were killed in the attack.
Around 20 children and approximately 15 women were killed as a result of landmine explosions, remnants of war, or being struck by stray bullets.
166 people had been killed in August in areas under the control of the Interim Government and in occupied territories.
