The Asrın Law Office lawyers held a meeting with Abdullah Öcalan in Imrali on Monday. In a statement on its social media account, Asrın Law Office said: “Our lawyers, Raziye Öztürk, Ibrahim Bilmez, and Cengiz Yürekli, held a lawyer-client meeting today (15 September 2025) with Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, Mr. Hamili Yıldırım, Mr. Ömer Hayri Konar, Mr. Mahmut Yamalak, and Mr. Ergin Atabey, who are imprisoned on Imralı Island.”
Özgür Faik Erol took part in the meeting held in Imrali on 27 February 2025 with Öcalan, Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım, and Veysi Aktaş.
The last visit by lawyers to Öcalan was on 7 August 2019. Lawyers Rezan Sarıca and Newroz Uysal Aslan went to Imrali for that visit.
