A delegation including Co-Chairs of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Keskin Bayındır and Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar, along with Co-Chair of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Tuncer Bakırhan, traveled to southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) to attend the Social Democratic Alliance Conference in the Arab World held in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
The delegation also includes DBP and DEM Party executives, as well as Democratic Unity Initiative Co-Spokesperson and Van MP Gülcan Kaçmaz Sayyiğit.
The conference, attended by presidents, political leaders, and representatives from 21 countries, will continue until August 30.
The conference will address local, regional, and international developments, and numerous panels will be held.
Iraqi President Abdullatif Rashid also attends the meeting chaired by Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
