The Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Imrali Delegation denied recent claims suggesting that certain topics allegedly came up during meetings with Abdullah Öcalan.
The delegation released a statement saying: “As we previously stated in our announcement on July 14, 2025, some ‘meeting notes’ attributed to Mr. Abdullah Öcalan that have recently been circulated on social media do not reflect reality. These notes are being manipulated without any connection to their original form, the content is being altered with external additions, and especially by attaching statements directed at specific individuals, Mr. Öcalan’s views are being distorted.
The statement added: “We are well aware that such efforts are part of a deliberate attempt to damage both Mr. Öcalan and the ground for resolution and dialogue. Once again, we emphasize: no documents, notes, or information that does not come from the Imrali Delegation or from Mr. Öcalan’s family or lawyers should be taken seriously. The circulation of such content constitutes an operation aimed at misleading the public. We strongly urge the public to remain vigilant against these types of provocative attempts.”
