Humanitarian aid convoy for Suwayda

Armed clashes that began in the Syrian city of Suwayda on July 13 have left the Druze population facing a severe humanitarian crisis. The city’s infrastructure has been largely destroyed, health services have come to a standstill, and electricity, water, and food supplies have been completely cut off.

with the support of the people of North and East Syria and in cooperation with various civil society organizations, the Mesopotamia Association has prepared a humanitarian aid convoy to be delivered to the people of Suwayda. The aid convoy is reported to have reached Raqqa and is expected to depart today.

Kurdish Red Crescent Hevya Sor a Kurd also launched an aid campaign for Suwayda on July 23.
