An ISIS member killed after attacking checkpoint of Internal Security Forces

The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria announced that an ISIS-affiliated cell carried out an armed attack on a security checkpoint on the road between the cities of Hesekê and Shaddadi in Cizir Canton on Monday morning.

According to the statement, Internal Security Forces responded quickly to the attack carried out by a group of five mercenaries and captured one of the attackers, Raêd Fewaz El Elî, in a wounded state. The ISIS member died in the hospital while receiving treatment.
