SDF: Drones are the product of the work of the people of Northern and Eastern Syria

Farhad Shami, Director of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Media Center said in a statement that “the Turkish media affiliated with the Turkish government’s policy of genocide against the peoples of the region, is grappling with a crisis of fabricating false news. This includes promoting strange and false claims about an alleged deal between our forces and Iran to acquire 1,500 drones.”

Shami added: “This news is entirely false and blatantly fabricated by the Turkish media. Its aim is to cause harm to our forces and our people and create a hostile atmosphere towards the cause of the people in Northern and Eastern Syria among international public opinion.

Our fighters, drawing on their extensive experience in combating the terrorist organization ISIS, have worked during the past period to develop their own military capabilities, including drones, which are the product of the experience of the people of Northern and Eastern Syria.”
