Jino Victoria Doabi: We need to support the Kurds in Rojava

In an interview with Erem Kansoy, Doabi said: “What is happening in Rojava is that the Turkish-backed SNA and HTS, are actually ethnically cleansing Kurds with the support of Erdoğan and the jihadists, former al-Qaeda, former ISIS, other terrorists, jihadist Islamist groups. This must be stopped.”

Doabi added: “My message to the world is actually to, especially to the democratic countries, where do we want to stand? Who do we want to be? What do we want to be remembered in history for? We need to stand for the democratic values and the principles that every human being has the right to live in dignity and in health, and human life is respected in these things. And Erdoğan, I don’t have anything to say to him. The only thing that I have to say is he needs to be stopped by the western countries and democratic countries.”

Doabi continued: “I am proud of Kurds in Rojava. I am proud to be one of you, and we support you. To the SDF, to the YPG, and the YPJ, you are the pride of my shoulders and keep fighting.”
