Women in Shengal plant 300 saplings to mark Öcalan’s birthday

Members of the Free Yazidi Women’s Movement (Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzidî-TAJÊ) have planted 300 saplings in the Khanasor town of Shengal (Sinjar) in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The event at the Mishterik Park in Khanasor was organised to mark the birthday of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan on April 4.

TAJÊ women stated that they would make 2022 the year when Öcalan will attain his physical freedom.
