Kurdish representative attends Confederacion Intersindical congress in Zaragoza

Kurdish representatives attended the congress of the Confederacion Intersindical and drew attention to the crimes of the Turkish state.

Greeting the delegates on behalf of the people of Kurdistan, Eyyüp Doru drew attention to the occupation and massacres carried out by the Turkish state in Kurdistan. Doru pointed out that international institutions, the UN and the Council of Europe are carrying out a two-faced policy, and added: “The international community is silent because Turkey is a member of NATO.”

Emphasizing that European states continue to sell weapons to Turkey despite the heavy human rights violations, Doru also reminded that the AKP-MHP government usurped the Kurdish people’s municipalities. Pointing to the political genocides, Doru added, “The Turkish President himself stated that it does not recognize international laws.”

Doru called on international circles for solidarity with Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and the Kurdish people.

Officials from the Spanish government also attended the congress.
