Prof Felix Padel: Öcalan’s freedom is of immense importance

Prof. Felix Padel, a sociologist and anthropologist who has written extensively on the situation of indigenous people in India, was interviewed by Erem Kansoy.  

Prof. Padel is speaking about the jailing of Öcalan for 23 years, and the world silence about several years of Turkish invasion and ethnic cleansing in Kurdish areas of northern Syria and Iraq, with countless atrocities. Ocalan is a key thinker of our time and could contribute decisively to peace in the Middle East.
