Stephen Smellie: Öcalan’s freedom is crucial for peace in the region

Stephen Smellie is the Deputy Convenor of UNISON Scotland and chair of the union’s social work issues group. He is a co-chair of Scottish Solidarity for Kurdistan and the trade union liaison officer of Peace in Kurdistan.

In this interview with Erem Kansoy, he said that “Öcalan’s freedom is crucial for peace in the region.”
