Three injured after fascist Turkish attack on Kurdish association in Drancy

The Democratic Kurdish Community Centre in Drancy, a northeastern suburb of Paris, was attacked by fascist Turks on Saturday after a raid by the French police on Thursday, February 24.

A group of Turkish fascists attempted to break into the association with Turkish flags in their hands. The group was intervened and prevented from entering the premises at around 1 pm this afternoon.

Kurdish citizens rushed to the scene, only to be attacked by the police with pepper gas. The attack left three Kurds injured.

The crowd protests the attack outside the association building, chanting slogans.

The Democratic Kurdish Council in France (CDK-F) Board member Murat Ceylan called on all Kurdish patriots to gather at the scene where a press statement is expected to be made in the coming hours.
