CDK-F condemns attack against Drancy DTKM

The French Democratic Kurdish Council (CDK-F) co-presidency protested the French police that carried out a raid against the Democratic Kurdish Community Center in Drancy, a suburb of Paris.

In a written statement, the CDK-F asked the French state to “end its political games over the Kurds with cheap, simple and ugly profit calculations.”

The statement added: “The Democratic Kurdish Community Center was raided by the French police on Thursday. The search lasted about 3 hours. While the whole world is talking about the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, the French state must have considered targeting the Kurds for petty calculations among their priorities, which is such a shameful and dishonourable action. We condemn the attacks against our democratic values, which were defended and built with the blood of our martyrs and the labor of our people. The Kurdish people won’t give up.”

The statement continued: “Our call to the French state is to end the political games against the Kurdish people with these cheap, simple and ugly profit calculations and stick to democratic and human values. Get your hands off the Kurdish people’s necks. Stop pushing the Kurdish people’s patience any further. Don’t betray your own history. We don’t expect friendship, just don’t be hostile.”
