HDP Women’s Assembly will kick off its 8 March actions on 28 February in Izmir

With the slogan “Together We Will Change. Now is the Time for Women” ((Em ê bi hev re biguherînin, dem dema jinan e), the HDP will celebrate 8 March with actions that will kick off in Izmir on 28 February. Actions and events will be held in 38 cities in 6 different regions.

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Women’s Assembly said that this year, the 8 March actions will begin in Izmir, where HDP activist Deniz Poyraz was murdered.

 On 28 February, in Izmir, a march to Türkan Saylan will be held. Deniz Poyraz will be commemorated here as in all other cities.
