Nujiyan Günay: Conspiracy forces failed because Öcalan’s paradigm spread everywhere

Nujiyan Günay, a member of the DEST-DAN Women’s Council, which carries out women’s studies in Berlin, evaluated the international conspiracy against Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan, the Imrali isolation and the ‘Dem dema Azadiyê’ initiative in this interview with ANF.

Günay condemned the International Conspiracy against the Kurdish people in the person of Abdullah Öcalan, and added that he has been in a heavy isolation between 4 walls for 23 years. She pointed out that the ultimate aim is to condemn the whole Kurdish people to isolation, and added: “23 years ago, the international forces behind the conspiracy were calculating that they would end the Kurdish people, the Kurdish Freedom Movement, and gave Turkey a guard duty. They didn’t think Öcalan’s paradigm would spread this much. While Abdullah Öcalan’s paradigm spread rapidly in the Middle East, it continues to spread all over the world today. We can see the democratic modernity system as a system that covers the whole world today. To give an example, we can say that the Democratic Modernity system came to life in Rojava, Shengal and Maxmur. Today, his books are read as textbooks in European universities. The whole world saw that these ideas are beneficial to all peoples.”

Günay stated that women led the ‘Dem Dema Azadiye’ initiative to “liberate our Leader physically.

Kurdish women were organized under the leadership of Sakine Cansız. At the same time, European women see their freedom in Öcalan’s idea, in this thought. They see Abdullah Öcalan’s thoughts as hope. For this reason, women are leading the ‘Dem dema to Azadiyê’ initiative. With this initiative, our aim is to realize the dreams of our martyrs; that is, to liberate our Leader.

Today, more than any period, we have to organize and increase the struggle, because the dreams of our martyrs must come true. Our Leader must come out of the four walls and be free. There are institutions that defend the rights of prisoners, but when it comes to Kurds, they accept everything and remain silent. These states are partners of those occupying Kurdistan.”

Öcalan’s paradigm is for everyone

Defining the reason why Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan is so loved in the international arena as the failure of those who invaded Kurdistan to achieve their goals, Günay said: “The aim of the conspiracy forces was to physically imprison Mr. Öcalan and destroy the Kurdish people. There have been many rebellions throughout history, but the PKK was not like those rebellions, because the Leader’s ideology included not only Northern Kurdistan but all nations.”
