Locals kidnapped, trees cut down in Turkish-occupied Afrin

The Turkish occupation army and its gangs continue to commit crimes against the indigenous people in the occupied canton of Afrin by kidnapping, torturing them and asking for ransoms to release them. Nature is not spared from the brutality of the invaders cutting down trees and selling them in the markets.

In the past two days, the occupation and its mercenaries committed a number of crimes against the locals and the nature in the occupied canton of Afrin.

According to reports, the mercenaries of “Sultan Murad” kidnapped two citizens from the village of Quta, in Bilbile district on February 10. They are Kamal Rashid Jaafar (47 years old) and Ahmed Mustafa Jaafar (48 years old), from one family”, according to a source.

On the other hand, Al-Sharqiya mercenaries unjustly cut down 20 olive trees in the village of Qila, in Jindires district. The trees belonged to lawyer Faeq Sido, a resident of the village of Ishka al-Sharqiya.

The Turkish-backed Hamzat Division cut down 6 olive trees between the villages of Qirba and Qajoman in Jindires district, which belonged to a citizen from the occupied canton of Afrin.

Reports say that a mercenary from Al-Hamzat Division sold the apartment of displaced citizen Walid Nabo from the village of Kafr Zeit in the Ashrafiyah neighborhood, for $1,500 to another mercenary from the town of Tell Daman in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

Reports say that cases of selling agricultural land have increased recently in the villages of Tal Tawil and Gomka in the center of Afrin canton, and the village of Kemar.
