Turkish army launches operation around Lice

An air and land operation was launched by the Turkish army on Friday in the mountainous region between Çağdaş (Cinezur), Dibek (Derxust) and Yolçatı (Sise) in Lice, province of Amed.  Helicopters’ activity was reported in the operation area, where many soldiers and armoured vehicles are located.

All the roads leading to the specified areas were closed by soldiers and check-points were set up.
