Young activists at the Long March reach Strasbourg

The group of activists led by TCŞ and TekoJIN started the Long March from the town of Sierentz, on 6 February. Despite the bad weather conditions and occasional provocation attempts, the youth walked with determination.

Young people have covered a total distance of 12 km today and ended in front of the Kurdish Community Center in the center of Strasbourg.

Speaking on behalf of the marchers, Çiyager Serhat said: “The freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan is the freedom of Kurdistan. Leader Öcalan’s freedom is the freedom of all peoples. We marched with determination for six days, our struggle continues, and will continue until the physical freedom of our Leader is ensured.”

Representatives of youth organizations will attend the central event to be held in Strasbourg with the internationalist group coming from Germany tomorrow.
