Kurds from Helsingborg take over the 3-day hunger strike in Gothenburg

The protest actions on the 23rd anniversary of the international conspiracy against Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan in Sweden started with a 3-day alternating hunger strike held at the Gothenburg Democratic Kurdish Community Center.

On the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the international conspiracy which led to the abduction of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan, on 15 February 1999, the hunger strike launched in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 6 February has been taken over by Kurds living in Helsingborg.

The hunger strike will continue until tomorrow, Friday. A march will be held in Helsingborg on Saturday 12th.
