Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan campaign events begin in Parma

Two days of public meetings began in Parma on Tuesday as part of the freedom of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Today, Amed Metropolitan Municipality co-mayor Fırat Anlı met with Parma mayor Federico Pizzarotti and City Council President Alessandro Tassi-Carboni.

During the meetings, Anlı expressed his gratitude to the municipality for the honorary citizenship granted to Abdullah Öcalan.

Then, a crowded meeting was held in the city of Parma. At the meeting, the campaign for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan was given its official start.

The Kurdish committee and the Kurdistan Network (Rete Kurdistan) also visited Fırat Anlı and expressed their support for the struggle of the Kurdish people.
