ADGB calls for protests against Turkish attacks in Rojava, Maxmur and Shengal
The European Democratic Forces Union (ADGB) issued a written statement concerning the recent invasion attacks of the Turkish state against Rojava, Maxmur and Shengal.
“The Turkish state, discontented with the failure of the ISIS attack on the Sinaa Prison, bombed civilian settlements in Rojava, Maxmur and Shengal following Turkish President Erdogan’s statement that said that ‘our fight will continue with special and different methods’,” the statement said.
“We can only frustrate the Turkish attack on Rojava, Maxmur and Shengal on February 1 through a joint struggle of the oppressed peoples. Just as thousands of international rebels and the solidarity of millions of people defeated ISIS during the Kobanê resistance, we can today repel these attacks with a joint struggle of democratic forces. We call on the local and migrant democratic forces in Europe to embrace Rojava, Maxmur and Shengal and to fight together against fascist attacks. We urge all forces to frustrate the fascist attack with the power of the streets,” the ADGB statement concluded.
