Kurds in France protest the attacks carried out by Turkey against Shengal, Maxmur and Rojava

Kurds living in France protested the Turkish state’s invading attacks on Shengal, Maxmur and Dêrik in Rojava.

MARSEILLE

Hundreds of Kurds and their friends gathered in front of the European Representation in Marseille to protest the attacks carried out by the Turkish state.

 

People were invited to participate in the Long March set to kick off on 10 February.

TOULOUSE

The attacks carried out by the Turkish state were also protested in the city of Toulouse.

 

BORDEAUX

The Turkish state was also protested in Bordeaux. An action was organised in the city center. The French people were informed about the invading and genocidal attacks and signatures were collected for the campaign launched to remove the PKK from the EU list of terrorist organisations.

RENNES

Turkey’s attacks were also protested in the city of Rennes with an action in Republique Square. Leaflets were distributed during the action.

 

PARIS

Hundreds of Kurds and their friends gathered at the Gare du Nord in Paris to attend the demonstration organised by TJK-F and CDK-F.

The crowd unfurled banners reading “We are defending Rojava”, “Stand up for Rojava”, “The Turkish state is a murderer”, “Get out of Rojava” and “We are defending the Rojava resistance”.

 

KCDK-E member Murat Ceylan said that “the Turkish state and Erdogan are trying to do with their own hands what they could not do with ISIS. The simultaneous bombing of civilian settlements followed the defeat of ISIS in Hesekê. These attacks on the gains achieved by the Kurdish people at great cost have once again revealed the murderous face of the Turkish state. We call on all our people and friends to stand up against fascism and to increase the common struggle.”

STRASBOURG

Members of the Democratic Kurdish Community Center, Partizan and People’s United Revolution Movement activists, got together in Strasbourg to attend the demonstration organised by TCŞ and TekoJIN.

The crowd gathered in front of Strasbourg Train Station chanting “Murderer Erdoğan, fascist Erdoğan”.

MONTPELLIER

The attacks launched by the Turkish state against Maxmur, Shengal and Rojava on Tuesday were protested in the Comedie square of the city of Montpellier.
